ABOUT RYAN BORG

Play Better Golf — With a Clear Plan

I help golfers stop guessing, practice with purpose, and play better on the course — not just on the driving range.

I’m a PGA of Canada Teaching Professional and founder of Borg Golf. My mission is simple: give golfers clear direction, measurable improvement, and a smarter way to train so they can enjoy the game more by playing it better.

My Background

My journey in golf started at age two and progressed through:

  • Elite junior competition

  • NCAA Division I golf at the University of South Florida

  • Professional golf across North America

  • A full season on PGA Tour Canada

  • Multiple professional wins, including on the Toronto Players Tour

I also trained for three years at a high-performance academy in Florida led by Sean Foley, former swing coach to Tiger Woods. That experience showed me how world-class instruction is delivered — and more importantly, how to communicate it in a way that actually makes sense to everyday golfers.

Competing and training at that level taught me what holds up under pressure… and what doesn’t.

My Coaching Philosophy

Most golfers don’t struggle because they lack effort.

They struggle because they lack direction.

They jump from tip to tip, swing thought to swing thought, hoping the next fix will finally solve it.

That approach creates confusion — not consistency.

A Better Way to Improve

Improvement should be clear and measurable.

We identify:

  • Where you’re actually losing strokes

  • The most efficient way for you to improve

  • The skills that directly lower scores

Progress isn’t measured by how your swing looks.

It’s measured by:

  • Hitting the ball closer to the hole

  • Eliminating costly misses

  • Performing under pressure on the course

Who This Is For

This is for golfers who:

  • Are tired of random swing tips

  • Want structure and accountability

  • Are willing to practice with purpose

  • Care about long-term improvement

If you’re serious about improving and want a clear plan — not guesswork — you’re in the right place.

Next Step

If this approach resonates with you, I’d love to work together.
